On February 19, 2015, the Ko Family attended a private dinner hosted by Dr. Arvind Gupta, UBC’s President and Vice Chancellor. The dinner took place at the Norman Mackenzie House and guests included Professor Gupta and his wife, Dr. Michelle Pereira, Sarah Roth (Assistant Dean, Faculty of Medicine, DAE), Drs. Larry Goldenberg (Professor, Dpt. of Urologic Sciences) and Paula Gordon (Clinical Professor, Dpt. of Radiology). The dinner asserts the Ko Family’s dedication and bond to both the medicinal and educational community in Vancouver.

On February 8, 2015, Mr. Shang-Ping Han, President of World Journal in Vancouver, and manager James Yang visited Viva Pharmaceuticals Inc. The World Journal is one of the largest Chinese language daily newspapers printing in North America.

Viva Pharmaceutical Inc attended the 20th Anniversary For Children We Care gala, hosted for the BC Children’s Hospital by the Chinese-Canadian community at the Vancouver Convention Centre. This year’s gala was aimed to raise funds for the hospital’s Radiology Department for new ultrasound machines, and as a platinum sponsor, Viva Pharmaceutical Inc donated $10, 000 with an additional $150, 000 to the cause.
