On Nov. 11, 2014, the Ko family attended the Night of a Thousand Stars, held by the Vancouver General Hospital & UBC Hospital Foundation, at the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel. At the Gala, Mr. Ko and family graciously pledged to donate $50, 000 to provide the Foundation with a new state-of-the-art CT scanner.
